Trustee Muraski NBC 26 Interview
John Muraski has served as a Village Trustee since 2018, helping guide major initiatives that are shaping Howard's future. I bring a practical, results-focused approach built through years of public service and private-sector leadership. My goal is simple: protect what residents value most while planning responsibly for what comes next.
"Leadership in a village like ours isn't about slogansโit's about results. We need to plan responsibly, invest wisely, and listen closely to residents."
โ John Muraski
Honest communication, follow-through, and decisions grounded in what is best for Howard.
Accessible leadership that listens, responds, and treats resident concerns with respect.
Careful, long-term management of taxpayer resources and core services.
Transparent processes, clear explanations, and decisions made in the light of day.
I'm running because Howard is home. My family and I have lived here for more than twenty years, and we have seen firsthand what makes this community special: strong neighborhoods, responsible growth, and residents who look out for one another.
As Village President, I want to build on the positive momentum we have created together. This is not about dramatic change. It is about steady, thoughtful leadership that keeps Howard safe, supports local businesses, manages growth wisely, and makes sure residents have a clear voice in the decisions that shape our future.
I have helped guide village planning, budgeting, and long-range decisions with a focus on practical outcomes, transparency, and resident priorities.
Before UW Oshkosh, I spent two decades working with Green Bay and Fox Valley organizations on strategy, operations, and change initiatives with clear accountability for results.
For the past 15 years, I have led hands-on initiatives that help organizations improve operations, adopt practical tools, and solve real problems. That experience reinforces the same skills required in village leadership: planning, prioritizing, managing projects, and working with diverse stakeholders.
Join our campaign to keep Howard strong, responsible, and forward-looking.
